Dread Locks
Dread locks me in fear
'Cuz my vision ain't so clear.
Brushed all aside,
Can see far and near.

Now what I can see
Is quite disturbing to me:
All the loathing, hate and fear.
What's our world gonna be?

Burn a pile of books?
Hate people for their looks?
Spit and call them names?
Treat others like they're crooks?

The fear is deep and wide.
The dread does us divide.
His dreadlocks he brushed aside.
Their dread locks their hate inside.

So then what are we to do?
Show that our weakness we outgrew!
Destroy the well of hate
And praise the righteous few.© 2012. Nu Mil 3 Design
